Quiz on Tuesday

Next Tuesday we will take a quiz on formulas. There will be questions that involve Area, Perimeter and Volume (the formulas will be given), though for some questions you may need to solve for one particular dimension, thus turning the problem into an equation (like we've been doing in class). There will be one additional formula given for which you will need to plug in the values and solve.

Remember the steps:
1. Plug in the values for each variable.
2. Solve for the unknown (whichever variable is left).

In some cases, this means you will be left with a 2-step equation; remember to "get rid of the loner" first, and then solve by completing the opposite operation. Be sure to look over the page from 2-9 in your workbook as you review. We will be practicing more tomorrow and on Monday.
